The Pumpkin Patch

Vala's Pumpkin Patch is a hot spot in Omaha during the month of October. It's been around for a while, but it has nearly turned into an amusement park. You could spend an entire day at the patch and still not exhaust every exhibit. This year I took my Sunday School class (the 3rd - 6th graders) to Vala's. Unfortunately only a few of them were able to go with us, but though we were few in number, we were mighty in presence! And who ever said white kids can't jump?

Serious competition. No fun and games here. Boy against the girls.

Thomas later locked the losers up.

Not a soul has heard from them since that fateful October day. (j/k)

The maze. Which way do we go, George?

This boy has "farmer" written all over his face doesn't he?

It was a teeny bit dusty at the Pumpkin Patch. I guess that beats muddy. But it sure wreaks havoc on your new felt boots.

And they're off!

This was super cool. Pictures are a little blury, but I had to share the neon glow fun.

We had no problem keeping track of Sophie.

Another good year at the Pumpkin Patch. The food is as good as the entertainment! I'm a fan of the kettle corn, kettle sweet potato chips, and the chocolate chip cookie cones. MmmmMmmmmmmmmmm. My mouth is watering thinking about it.
