Good friends

The Durans are our very good friends. They moved to Omaha 3 years ago and in searching for a church in the area, they found our website. At the time, our church was very small and Doug & I shouldered a lot of the load of the ministry. But all of that began to change shortly after James & Wendy joined the church. They are faithful and very active members. They pretty much have their hand in about everything that goes on at WOBC. If there is work to do, they are there with their sleeves rolled up and a little elbow grease. No task is above or beneath them. But not only are they our right hand men, they have become very dear friends to my husband and to me. In fact, I like to think of them as family. They probably wouldn't own me as a relative, but then neither will my biological family most days.

Boys will be boys!

I have always loved boys! I used to dream of having a dozen of my own. But that was back in the olden days. Now I'm older. And wiser. ;-) One boy and one girl fits just right! Anyhow...I still love boys. And these two little guys are no exception. The youngest of the two says "Des" to every question. It was so adorable, I asked as many questions as I could to hear his reply! So cute. It was one of the first super cold days we had this fall. We had to warm up the little guys now and then but once they got running on the playground, they forgot all about the cold temps.

A Sweet Little Bump

This mommy came to me through one of my great neighbors. We had a gorgeous day for a photo shoot. This was a terrific couple and I had a wonderful time with them. This lil punkin's nursery is incredible - probably the cutest one I've ever seen! Designed and implemented by this adorable mother-to-be. I do think she should go into business. Almost makes me want to have another baby just so she can decorate it for me! Almost...















This dresser has been in the family for a long time. Isn't it beautiful?!
